Outsourcing VisualSoft plans to grow BPO business Our Bureau
Hyderabad , Aug. 20 VISUALSOFT Technologies Ltd has drawn up plans to expand its BPO business and focus on enhancing the business `process framework' that seeks to optimise the solutions development process. This business process framework is aimed at providing value to the customer in terms of cost, quality and time and encompasses various tools to increase the productivity, quality and efficiency. VisualSoft R&D team is working towards next generation frameworks that enable faster development of business solutions at reduced costs to clients. According to the Chairman and Managing Director, Mr D.V.S. Raju, "While India has emerged as a natural destination for IT services, there is the possibility of increased competition from MNCs, that would call for critical review of pricing models in the backdrop of continued threat from some South East Asian and European countries." In its latest report, the company management stated that it plans to focus on implementing business-driven solutions that require integration of disparate modern and legacy systems. However, the challenge is to ensure that these business-driven solutions leverage various security standards defined for different technologies and respective standards. Focussing on expanding the existing frameworks to incorporate evolving specifications and standards around J2EE (Java to Enterprise Edition) and .NET, the company plans to address areas of security and security frameworks for desktops, e-business solutions and next generation devices such as pocket PCs and smartphones. While laying thrust on brand building this financial year, the company plans to consolidate the business in BPO segment significantly, as it sees this complementing its other services offerings to its existing clients, thereby taking the role of an end-to-end services provider.
