Dubai Design Centre to be launched

Abu Dhabi , Aug. 21

NAKHEEL, one of Dubai's premier property developers behind some iconic projects, has announced plans to launch Dubai Design Centre (DDC), an exclusive trade outlet for home furnishing and accessories for traders from across the world at its International City.

The International Cityis poised to be a hub for traders and retailers incorporating residential, commercial, retail and tourism facilities, according to a statement from Nakheel, made available to Business Line.

The DDC will be the largest development of its kind, measuring 4.2 km in length and 150 metres in width, offering a staggering 50,00,000 square feet of net usable prime retail and office space to traders and visitors delivering world-class choices in home furnishing and accessories.

Mr Sultan Ahmed bin Sulayem, Executive Chairman, Nakheel, said that the centre which is set for completion in late 2006, is primarily aimed at international and local traders and individual customers.
