THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Kerala Tourism's seven-brochure kit, Life in a New Light and CDs, Where the Season Never Ends - Malabar Mystique and A Day with the Masters have won the Indian Association of Tour Operators (IATO) awards for the best brochure and the best CD.

A spokesman said here that the brochures were conceived and produced by Stark Communications and the CDs by Invis Multimedia. In the process, Kerala beat several contenders, including major State Government tourism bodies.

The awards were given away at the recently concluded 20th annual convention of IATO in Agra. The Kerala Tourism delegation, led by the Tourism Minister, Mr P. Sankaran, comprised Mr T. Balakrishnan, Secretary, and Mr T. O. Sooraj, Director of Tourism.
