Kisan Sabha plans march in New Delhi

Our Bureau

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The All-India Kisan Sabha will take out a Parliament March in New Delhi on September 2 seeking to implement a series of demands.

According to Mr Sathyan Mokeri, General Secretary, the Sabha demands urgent measures to check the crisis in the farm sector as well as scrapping of the facility to import rubber through any port of choice in the country.

A hike in the import duty on farm goods will be another major demand, he added. The Kisan Sabha would also organise farmers' conclaves in different parts of Kerala the same day.
