Induslogic plans facility at Noida

New Delhi , Aug. 23

SOFTWARE product engineering company Induslogic Inc, on Monday said it plans to invest up to $60 million in India in the next couple of years, and also announced a new development facility at Noida with capacity to house 600 professionals.

"India is an important component of our business strategy and our operations here need to be nurtured and developed. We plan to invest $50 million-$60 million dollars here in the next couple of years," Mr Peter Harrison, CEO of Induslogic Inc, said in a statement.

The company provides a range of services to software product companies including research cell, product development, quality assurance, technical assurance, technical documentation, migration/porting amongst various industries.

Stating that Induslogic's Indian office had been growing at 10 per cent month-on-month for the last four quarters, the release said, "In order to meet the increasing demand, we plan to increase our headcount to over 2000 professionals by 2006 end from the existing 260 professionals."

Mr Harrison said that Induslogic aimed at dominating the market for global software product engineering by year 2010, and India would play a crucial role in enabling this vision.
