HYDERABAD: The Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister, Dr Y.S. Rajashekhara Reddy, said that he would convene a meeting of the representatives of various political parties on Thursday to discuss the issues pertaining to the unauthorised agricultural power connections.

Replying to a question at a press conference here on Monday, Dr Reddy said his move to crackdown on unauthorised power connections was in the overall interest of the State.

If unauthorised power connections were not checked, the authorised power users would be affected, as there could be a system collapse.
