Kerala govt's nod for major district roads

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The State Government has extended clearance for a proposal for declaring 6,000-km length of major roads linked to the Public Works Department (PWD) road network as `major district roads'.

According to an official spokesman, the PWD Chief Engineer has been asked to obtain the required clearances from the respective panchayats for the same.
