CII summit on public-private partnerships

THE Confederation of Indian Industry (Southern Region) in association with the Karnataka Government will hold SUMINFRA 2004, a two-day summit on "Sustainable PPPs (public private partnerships) in Infrastructure" from September 2 in Bangalore.

According to Mr J. P. Nayak, President, Operations, Larsen & Toubro Ltd, the summit would be a forum for the private sector to explore opportunities and for policy makers to appreciate the risk perceptions and concerns of the private sector that needed to be addressed. It would be the "largest convergence of various stakeholders."
