Nabard outlay for AP

HYDERABAD: National Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development (Nabard) has sanctioned Rs 1,197 crore for the current financial year 2004-05 to the Andhra Pradesh State Cooperative Bank (APCOB).

The funds are for short-term agricultural purposes and the same is being utilised, according to a press release from Nabard.

As a special case, a limit of Rs 270 crore has been additionally sanctioned to finance agricultural credit through Rythu Mitra Groups in six districts of the State, the release added.
