FIEO hails setting up of infrastructure panel

THE Federation of Indian Export Organisations (FIEO) has welcomed the Prime Minister, Dr Manmohan Singh's announcement on setting up of a Cabinet Committee on Infrastructure to monitor the progress of all key infrastructure projects.

In a statement, the FIEO President, Mr M. Rafeeque Ahmed, said infrastructure bottlenecks are one of the key constraints in exports and setting up of such a high-level committee would address the same.
