ICFAI courses evoke interest

STUDENTS and parents attending a seminar here on `Career opportunities in management' have evinced keen interest in the MBA/MCA programmes offered by the ICFAI National College (INC), Thiruvananthapuram.

According to Mr S. Ram Mohan, Principal, a large number of students, accompanied by parents, faculty members and representatives of the local industry, were present to listen to the proceedings.

The seminar sessions were spearheaded by Prof R. Prasad, Dean, INC (Headquarters), Hyderabad, and Mr Girish Kumar, Regional Head, INC, Kerala.

The college offers two-year, campus-based MBA and MCA programmes on a full-time format. It also conducts a Summer Internship Programme (SIP), where MBA students undergo a 16-week practical training with an industry.

The Career Development Cell (CDC), a separate department at the INC, assists the students in getting suitable summer internship and final placements after successful completion of the programme.
