Nehru Zoo elephant dead

HYDERABAD: A 75-year-old elephant of the Nehru Zoological Park died on Thursday.

Hashmi, as the popular pachyderm was called, belonged to the Nizam Trust and was one of the attractions at the zoo. The park is now left with seven elephants, according to a zoo release.
