Environment Operation clean-up Mohammed Yousuf
Desilting of the Hussain Sagar Lake in Hyderabad has begun. A private company has been given the contract to remove 90,000 cubic metres of slush from the lake floor as part of the clean-up operations. The silt is used as manure for plantations.
