THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Air India is in the process of adding extra seats/flights to Dubai and Saudi Arabia in a bid to clear the post-Onam rush of passengers returning to their workplaces.

Announcing this, Mr R. Ghosh, Manager, AI, Thiruvananthapuram, said the additional capacity was over and above the daily scheduled flights from Thiruvananthapuram, Kochi and Kozhikode to Dubai.

According to him, the international carrier has already provided 1,600 additional seats in the Kerala-Dubai sector between August 29 and September 7.
