New Products & Services ProSoya launches 1-litre milk pack Our Bureau
Mumbai , Sept. 2 PROSOYA Foods (India) Pvt Ltd, Mumbai, has launched one-litre pack of soya milk product in select cities of the country on August 15, after receiving good response for the 200 ml small pack from the domestic market. Retail price of one litre pack is Rs 45. The company has introduced soya milk in three flavours Natural, Original and Kesar Pista under the brand name "Staeta". The company had launched the 200 ml pack with five different varieties Natural, Original, Malt, Chocolate and Kesar Pista at a retail price of Rs 12 per pack of 200 ml in January. ProSoya Foods is promoted by Mr Rajendra Gupta, President of ProSoya Inc, Canada. "The company is created to manufacture and market high quality soya milk products to discerning Indian consumers who are increasing concerned about their health and well-being and are conscious about the high nutritional value soy adds to their diet," Mr N. Jagirdar, Vice-President (Marketing and Sales), told Business Line. The company is also planning to introduce soya milk powder, curd and tofu in the next one year. The company has projected a sales turnover of nearly Rs 4 crore in the first year of operations i.e. calendar year 2004 and is expected to double its turnover to around Rs 8 crore in the second year.
