Hyderabad , Sept. 2 SATYAM Computer Services has announced the completion of its initial phase of "first mass recruitment" of entry-level engineers outside India where fresh graduates were hired from top Malaysian universities. They will undergo rigorous training for 14 weeks at its development centre in Cyberjaya, Malaysia. The Satyam Chairman, Mr B. The mass hiring was conducted under a multimedia super corridor (MSC) internship programme and follows an agreement that Satyam signed with the Multimedia Development Corporation (MDC) of Malaysia." Participating at the MSC International Advisory Panel discussions in Cyberjaya, Mr Raju said this recruitment drive was the most significant outside India by the company, which launched its global solutions centre (GSC) in Cyberjaya in April, 2003. The entry level technology programme (ELTP) in Malaysia is a refined version of the one conducted by the company in India, where over 3,500 fresh graduates taken it in the last year. This programme aims at transforming fresh graduates into productive software engineers. The Satyam Asia-Pacific Region Head, Mr Virender Aggarwal, said "Satyam is investing by way of resources to make the programme a grand success.
