New chief for Chennai Port Trust

Chennai , Sept. 3

MR K. Suresh, an IAS officer belonging to the 1982 batch of the Madhya Pradesh cadre, has taken over as the Chairman and Chief Vigilance Officer, Chennai Port Trust.

He was earlier Zonal Manager (South), Food Corporation of India, Chennai.

Mr Suresh takes over from Mr M. Raman, an IAS officer of the Tamil Nadu cadre, Chairman and Managing Director, Ennore Port Ltd, who was holding additional charge as Chairman of Chennai Port Trust.
