Garment fair from Sept. 11

HYDERABAD: The Garment Manufacturers and Wholesalers Association of Hyderabad is organising a two-day garment fair in the city from September 11.

The sixth "Garments Fair Hyderabad" is expected to generate Rs 35 crore worth of business. There will be 102 stalls in the fair displaying 250 leading Indian and foreign brands of garments. A fashion show is also in the offing, according to Mr Ravindra Chhangani, Chairman of the Fair Committee.

Mr Chhangani told newspersons on Friday that in the garments fair last year, about Rs 25 crore orders were booked. Apart from Andhra Pradesh, the exhibitors at the fair came from Kolkata, Mumbai, Bangalore, Delhi, Bellary and other places.
