Diamond Interest to expand

HYDERABAD: Diamond Interest (India) Pvt Ltd, the Indian subsidiary of the Malaysian pharmaceutical major, Dynapharm (M) Sdn Bhd, has chalked out major expansion plans for India, its Country Manager and Director, Mr Abdul Rahmat Puvarasan, said.

Addressing newspersons here, he said the Indian company is currently importing various pharmaceutical products under the dietary supplements category from the Malaysian manufacturing facilities and selling them using multi-level marketing method.

Having invested nearly Rs 5 crore in the last one year on marketing infrastructure, the company has decided to invest another Rs 25 crore over the next five years, he said. This includes setting up of a manufacturing facility in Andhra Pradesh to cater exclusively to the needs of Indian market.

Stating that the company has already set up a strong agents network in Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Kerala and Chhattisgarh, Mr Puvarasan said the company plans to reach out to all the States across the country in the next five years.
