HYDERABAD: Pedigree, a leading brand of pet food, has announced the launch of new variants of dog food. They would be available in two variants for adult dogs — chicken and vegetables; milk, vegetables and rice. The third variant chicken and milk is for puppies.

The Pedigree brand is manufactured and marketed in India by Effem India Pvt Ltd, a fully owned subsidiary of Mars Inc, which is among the leaders in pet food, pet care, snack food and food products. These products have been specially formulated to meet the nutritional needs of Indian dogs, according to a company press release.
