LG Notebook PCs launched in Kochi

KOCHI: Aiming to strengthen its product portfolio, LG Electronics has announced the launch of four different models of X-Note Notebook PCs in Kochi.

The unique feature of LG X-Notes is its longest battery life of 10.5 hours backed with Wi-Fi internet access. "Kochi is a place where we see tremendous market potential for our overall IT business," Mr R. Manikandan, DGM, Product Group Head (IT Products), LGEIL, said.

Riding on its strong first half performance, the company is targeting a turnover of Rs 750 crore from its IT division, he said. The company also announced the launch of Pro PC range of computers in the market priced in the range of Rs 19,000 to Rs 26,000. The other products offered by LGEIL are the complete range of CRT Monitors, LCD TFT Monitors and Optical Storage Drives.
