New chief for GAC India

Kolkata , Sept. 13

GAC group (GAC), a global shipping and logistics company, has appointed a new chief of the Indian business.

Mr Paul Haegeman, who was earlier General Manager of Andhika GAC, Indonesia, a joint venture between Andhika Lines and GAC, is GAC India's new Managing Director.

He succeeds Mr Jan Farnelid, who has taken over as the group's Vice-President for human resources at the corporate head office in Dubai.

Mr Neale Proctor, who has taken over Mr Haegeman's position at Andhika GAC, was previously Regional Manager for Protection & Indemnity at GAC's West Asia outfit.
