Bancassurance workshop at Thiruvananthapuram

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The Divisional Office of the National Insurance Company here is organising a one-day `Bancassurance workshop' exclusively for managers of Bank of India on Wednesday.

Announcing this, Mr M.P. Ramkumar, Senior Divisional Manager, National Insurance Company, said that the workshop would be held at the company's conference hall at Vazhuthacaud here.

Bank of India has 72 branches all over the State. The Mumbai-based bank had earlier entered into an agreement with the insurance company for sale of insurance products through its branch network throughout the country.

As on date, the company has entered into bancassurance agreements with 15 banks in the country, Mr Ramkumar added.
