Capital Research stake in HDFC crosses 6 pc

Mumbai , Sept. 14

CAPITAL Research and Management Company USA's holding in Housing Development Finance Corporation Ltd has crossed over 6 per cent.

In a notice to stock exchanges on Monday, HDFC said Capital Research and Management Company USA has acquired 1,16,07,500 shares, constituting 4.705 per cent of the company, through open market purchases. The notice said the purchases were made between May and September 8.

After the acquisition, the shareholding of Capital Research is 6.09 per cent.
