Software Yash Tech support centre for Monsanto Our Bureau
Hyderabad , Sept. 15 YASH Technologies, a global software services provider, and Monsanto Company, the US-based agri-sciences major, have announced the establishment of an overseas development cum global support centre of the latter's operations across the world. The President and Chief Executive Officer of Yash Technologies, Mr Manoj Baheti, and the Head of Global ERP Program Management, Monsanto Company, Mr Mark P. Jordan, said: "this is the first such centre outside the US to handle these operations for Monsanto. Monsanto has earlier established an R&D centre in Bangalore to address areas of agri-sciences." Mr Jordan said: "Yash will help Monsanto in SAP upgrade, support, migration study, supply chain opportunity assessment, functional consulting, customisation and add on applications. As a global agri-sciences company we have a large technology infrastructure that helps manage a distributed enterprise. We have chosen Yash Technologies to support our SAP platform and related processes including a global support services work out of India." Mr Baheti said thatthe development centre initially would have about 55 people and is likely to be further expanded to about 100 people.
