New railway projects in AP

HYDERABAD: The Union Minister for Railways, Mr Lalu Prasad, will lay the foundation stone for the doubling and electrification of the Tirupati-Renigunta sector and a new railway station building on September 16. He will also dedicate the Renigunta-Nandalur electrified section at the Tirupati railway station.

On September 17, the minister will open the remodelled railway stations at Srikalahasti and Venkatagiri, dedicate the doubling of the Gudur-Renigunta section and lay the foundation for a road over-bridge at Gudur, according to an official press release here.
