Award for Cadsys promoter

HYDERABAD: The promoter of Andhra Pradesh-based IT company, Cadsys (India) Ltd, Mr N.C.V. Ranga Charya, was conferred the `Bharti Entrepreneur of The Year' award.

The award has been instituted as part of a joint initiative by the Bharti Center for Entrepreneurial Initiatives (BCEI) and Ahmedabad-based Entrepreneurship Development Institute. The award recognises the accomplishments of first generation entrepreneurs and includes a cash component of Rs 1 lakh, a trophy and a citation.

Cadsys (India) Ltd, an ISO 9002 certified outfit, provides technologies in the field of Geographical Information System (GIS). Mr Charya is the second winner of the award, after Punjab-based entrepreneur Mr R.S. Khadwalia, Chairman and Managing Director, Indo Farm Equipment Ltd.
