`Pak for good ties with India'

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Pakistan is committed to good neighbourly relations with India, said Mr Aziz Ahmed Khan, the High Commissioner of Pakistan to India.

Speaking at a meeting organised by the Trivandrum Chamber of Commerce on Tuesday, he expressed the hope that various issues between the two countries would be resolved if the prevailing "positive atmosphere" continues. Mr Khan, who is on his first visit to the State, will meet the Chief Minister, Mr Oommen Chandy, and senior State Government officials. He will also visit several places of tourist interest in the State.
