AP Transport Commissioner's fiat on change of address

Our Bureau

HYDERABAD: The Transport Commissioner has asked the vehicle owners to intimate the transport authorities about change of address, if any, within 30 days.

If vehicle owners failed to intimate the change in address, they would be penalised , the Commissioner said here in a press release. He said law-enforcing authorities found it difficult to serve statutory notices on the vehicle owners in the absence of proper addresses.

The Commissioner gave a deadline of October 15 to comply with the orders. "Failing which action would be initiated to suspend the registration of the vehicles," he warned.
