Cardiac check-up camps

HYDERABAD: Marking the World Heart Day on September 26, Metropolis Health Services (I) Pvt Ltd, which runs a chain of diagnostic centres in the country, is conducting nationwide cardiac check-up camps.

These camps will be held in Maharashtra, Assam, Chhattisgarh, Delhi, J&K, Karnataka, M.P., Orissa, Punjab, U.P., Tamil Nadu, West Bengal and Andhra Pradesh. Metropolis, which offers over 1,200 specialised tests, is a referral centre for more than 1,100 laboratories, hospitals and research institutions across the country.

The camps, which will run for three days, will begin on Friday. The `Cardiac Testing Camp' is the seventh in the series of 12 check-up camps on various diseases launched by Metropolis as a part of the health awareness drive, a Metropolis press release said. So far, the campaign covered skin disease, breast cancer, osteoporosis, paediatric, hepatitis and thyroid testing. Ganesh pandal contest
