Water levels decline in Kerala

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Water levels at the three main reservoirs in the State have declined compared to the last week, according to figures released by the Central Water Commission.

The level fell down from 2374.10 ft to 2373.73 ft at Idukki, 525.89 ft to 524.28 ft at Idamalayar, and 373.36 ft to 371.59 ft at Kallada.

However, the respective levels recorded an increase when year-on-year readings were compared. It was high by 39.62 ft at Idukki, by 37.80 ft at Idamalayar and 32.84 ft at Kallada.
