SaharaOne launched

NEW DELHI: Sahara India Pariwar on Friday announced the launch of SaharaOne, an umbrella brand, across four major businesses of motion pictures, radio, television and special identity.

According to a company statement, Sahara India Pariwar has formed a 50:50 joint venture company called Sahara India Media Entertainment Management with Percept IMC. The joint venture will act as the management company for all initiatives under SaharaOne with the Joint Managing Director of Percept, Mr Shailendra Singh, heading it.

It said the company has earmarked over Rs 1,500-crore investment over the next three years towards SaharaOne's plans to gain leadership in the domestic media entertainment industry.

As a part of the restructuring exercise, the new joint venture has appointed KPMG and Ernst & Young to help develop synergies in the four businesses and adopt best practices in the global entertainment industry.
