Debt Market RBI announces auction of treasury bills Our Bureau
Mumbai , Sept. 25 THE Reserve Bank of India has announced the auction of 91-day and 364-day Government of India treasury bills for a notified amount of Rs 2,000 crore each. In case of 91-day t-bills Rs 500 crore will be auctioned under the regular auction calendar and Rs 1,500 crore under the Market Stabilisation Scheme (MSS), said an RBI press release. While, in the case of 364-day t-bills Rs 1,000 crore will be auctioned under the regular auction calendar and Rs 1,000 crore under MSS. Both auctions will be conducted using "Multiple Price Auction method" on September 29 while the payment by successful bidders will be on October 1, the release said.
