Those who talk know that those who know don't talk

At the end of a week when Manmohan has been hard-selling India and Musharraf told us he got more marks in maths than our PM, Khan and his chums Dakshinamoorthy, Sridevi and Jogin tiptoe to their PCs for a chat on the bourses. Brace up!

Jog: Charts point to weakness in all pivotal stocks. I too

feel so weak, oh...

Sri: You're too feeble to key in your thoughts. Better shut

down and sleep!

Kay: It's okay, Sri. GMDC may show strength on news of

renegotiation of a large-sized loan at a lower rate of

interest.

Dax: You people forgot that Zee's fortunes on cricket tele

cast rights are to be decided today by the apex court!

Sri: I'm getting bored of cricket ever since I saw Jog

playing for the Bandra Club! :-)

Kay: Mid-cap pharma may display resilience as positive

news flow of the past week may

have some spill over effect. Hope

you understand!

Dax: Oh, yeah, just as much as I

can make sense of Donald

Rumsfeld who said at a news

briefing: "Reports that say that

something hasn't happened are

always interesting to me,

because as we know, there are

known knowns, there are things

we know we know. We also know

there are known unknowns; that

is to say we know there are some things we do not know.

But there are also unknown unknowns - the ones we don't

know we don't know."

Jog: Ah, my head is splitting! Shall I tie myself with

Eastern Silk?

Sri: Good, it might see trading action, on the back of plans

to set up a unit in China to source material.

Kay: Spark yourself with MICO! It could rule firm, on

news that its parent considers India an attractive out

sourcing base.

Dax: Gujarat Alkalies and Chemplast Sanmar may benefit

from anti-dumping duty protection against Korean

imports. Option expiration date comes up on Thu. Markets

could see some choppiness.

Jog: Friday is October 1! Don't forget.

Sri: Even if you forget, it will be Oct 1 after Sep 31. LOL

Kay: Psst... Sri, September has 30 days! CESC was having

good time till the JV of Damodar Valley Corp with Tata

Power for setting up Maithon Power upset the applecart!

Their power tariff may be cheaper than CESC and

even WBSEB. Power games go on in surges...

Dax: I'm tracking the latest deals of Israeli billionaire

Haim Saban!

Kay: You seem too farsighted. Don't forget that we cash

in on short-term movements.

Sri: One advice, everybody: Those who know don't talk;

and those who talk know at least this much - that those

who know don't talk.
