Bullet Electra launched in UK

CHENNAI: Royal Enfield has launched a new international model, the Bullet Electra 500, in the UK.

According to a press release from the company, this latest model is equipped with a 500-CC lean burn engine and a 5-speed gearbox.

The UK is Royal Enfield's largest export market, where it is positioned as a classic bike. The new model will help consolidate Royal Enfield's position among the top 10 selling brands in the 125 cc - 500 cc segment in the UK, the release said.

Royal Enfield's other models exported to the UK include Bullet Sixty 5, Bullet Euro Classic, Bullet Deluxe and the Bullet Army. Its motorcycles are exported to over 25 countries including the US, Europe, Japan, Australia and New Zealand.
