`BPL dispute will be resolved amicably'

Our Bureau

Bangalore , Sept. 28

MR Rajeev Chadrasekhar, Chairman & CEO, BPL Mobile Group, said his dispute with the patriarch of BPL family, Mr T.P.G. Nambiar, would be "amicably resolved" shortly.

In response to reports in the media of the case filed by Mr Nambiar with the Company Law Board, Mr Chandrasekhar in a statement said, "I have heard about this case through the media. My lawyers and I are yet to receive any official documents relating to the cases mentioned in the media. Since it is a family matter, I am obviously hopeful that this issue does get resolved in an amicable manner."

It must be mentioned that the BPL patriarch took his son-in-law, Mr Chandrasekhar, to the CLB for alleged mismanagement of the mobile company and discrepancies in its shareholding pattern. The CLB had ordered maintaining status quo in shareholding pattern as the petition moved by Mr Nambiar.
