Safexpress expanding warehousing capacity

Our Bureau

New Delhi , Sept. 29

SAFEXPRESS Pvt Ltd, market leader in the Indian logistics industry, is expanding its warehousing capacity by around 50 per cent to 3 million square feet at an estimated investment of Rs 4 crore.

The expansion is being done in and around Delhi, Mumbai and Bangalore, a company statement said here.

The hike in warehousing comes into effect with corporates increasingly turning to express service providers for consolidated warehousing facilities and third-party logistics. Also, with the value-added tax regime coming into force, companies would not have to invest in scattered warehousing facilities and can consolidate their clearing and forwarding activities, the statement said.
