Corpn Bank celebrates Hindi Day

MANGALORE: The Chairman and Managing Director of Corporation Bank, Mr Cherian Varghese, has said that Hindi plays a vital role in furtherance of banking transactions by virtue of being the most widely spoken language in India.

Presiding over the Hindi Day celebrations at the head office of the Corporation Bank here on Wednesday, he said that today Hindi could be incorporated in every sphere of banking activity. Mr Varghese stressed the need for increasing the use of Hindi in official work.
