Ford India launches total maintenance plan for Ikon owners

Our Bureau

Chennai , Sept. 30

FORD India has launched a nation-wide `Total Maintenance Plan' for Ford Ikon owners.

This provides scheduled servicing and non-scheduled maintenance, including mechanical and electrical failure repairs, according to a Ford India release. The plan will be available to all new customers and to those who bought the car in the last 12 months.

It is available in three packages - two years-40,000 km, 3 years-60,000 km and 3 years-100,000 km.

According to the release, the plan can be transferred to a new owner from a customer who has sold the car. A fixed price for the next three years insulates the customer from price revisions.

The release said that scheduled servicing would include servicing as in the owner's manual and the non-scheduled maintenance would include replacement of brakes pads/shoes, brake disc, clutch plate, suspension lower arms, shock absorbers, belts and wiper rubber.
