The Hindu Business Line : Award for Suresh Krishna

CHENNAI: Mr Suresh Krishna, Chairman and Managing Director of Sundram Fasteners Ltd, has been honoured with the `South Lake Friendship Award', by the Mayor of Jiaxing City, Zhenjiang Province, China.

The award, started in 1998, is given to foreign investors who contribute to the economy and culture of China, says a press release from Sundram Fasteners.

The company was the first Indian engineering firm to set up a factory in China — Sundram Fasteners (Zhenjiang) Ltd, as a wholly-owned subsidiary.
