Biotech research programme

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The Sree Buddha College of Engineering at Nooranad in Alappuzha and the Laboratory of Microbial Biotechnology, France, have decided to conduct collaborative research in the field of Biotechnology.

An official said here that Dr Christopher Augur, Senior Scientist from the Laboratory of Microbial Biotechnology, had visited the college recently and held discussions with faculty members and management. The biotechnology students had an interactive session with him.

The spokesman quoted Mr K. Sasikumar, Chairman of the college, as saying that Dr Christopher would be visiting the college frequently in his capacity as a visiting professor.
