TN: Paddy purchase centres opened in delta districts

THE Tamil Nadu Civil Supplies Corporation (TCSC) has opened Direct Purchase Centres (DPCs) to procure kuruvai paddy from farmers in the delta districts.

A maximum of 24 DPCs has been opened in Thanjavur district, nine in Tiruvarur district and seven in Nagapattinam district.

They will function in all taluk godowns of TCSC and at few places in each taluk.

In Tiruchi district, eight centres have been opened, while in Pudukottai district, three centres have been opened.

In Perambalur district, centres have been opened in four places.
