Golden Nandi for `Sukhadukhalu'

`SUKHADUKHALU' and `Gokulam Apartments' have been adjudged the First and Second Best TV Mega Serials for the year 2003, bagging Golden and Silver Nandis respectively.

In the regular TV serials segment, `Mouna Netraalu', produced by Ms B. Ramavathi, and `Kutumbarao Kutumbam' (producer Mr S. Bhanu Prakash Reddy) won the Golden and Silver Nandis.

`Jananee Janma Bhoomi', produced by Mr Veemuri Ramakoteshwar Rao, bagged the First Best Tele Film, while `Telangana Kesari Sardar Jamalapuram Kesava Rao' won the Second Best Tele Film.

While Golden Nandi carries a prize of Rs 25,000, Silver one would carry Rs 10,000 in cash.

The other Golden Nandi winners include Thalambralu (daily serial), Pandavulu (children's film), Chenchulu (documentary) and Pillala chaduvu mana badhyatha (socially relevant TV film).

In the individual awards category, Mr S.V. Solai Raja won the Best Director award for Thalambralu and Mr Rallapalli (Atchyut Award for Best Leading Actor), Ms Rajasree (Best Leading Actress) and Mr Kadambari Kiran Kumar (Best Comedian).
