Our Bureau

VISAKHAPATNAM: The workers of the Vizag Steel Plant should strive to improve productivity further and make it one of the very best in the country, Mr C. Appa Rao, the Acting Chairman and Managing Director, has said.

Interacting with the Steel Executives' Association and the various unions here on Thursday, after assuming charge recently as the Acting CMD, he said the plant had earned for itself a distinct image during the recent past and it had turned around thanks to the efforts of the staff.

However, he said, greater efforts should be put in by them to continue on the same path. The unions assured him of their co-operation.
