Coimbatore CH agents' AGM

COIMBATORE: The Coimbatore Custom House and Steamer Agents Association will hold its first annual general meeting here on Saturday.

The AGM among other things will discuss the difficulties experienced by the clearing and forwarding agencies in routing export cargo through Kochi Port due to the port congestion and the delay in getting adequate number of empty containers/trailer-trucks by the Coimbatore-based CH agents and shippers, according to Mr P. Subramaniam, general secretary of the association.
