Society & Development Infotech Trust builds school in Kukatpally Our Bureau
Hyderabad , Oct. 8 INFOTECH Enterprises Ltd, the Hyderabad-based Rs 300-crore software services provider, has helped build a school in Shamshiguda near here through its Infotech Enterprises Charitable Trust. The company and its associates contribute voluntarily to the trust whose funds are utilised to support social activities. The school building is to be inaugurated on Saturday by the State School Education Minister, Ms Nedurumalli Rajyalakshmi. The Government Upper Primary School located in Shamshiguda, Kukatpally, has only three rooms where over 550 students are hosted. Due to lack of facilities, more than 250 students are taught under tree shade daily. Infotech Trust constructed a facility that would host 250 students in collaboration with SaiKorian Association's Project Krushi. Project Krushi under the Saikorian Association provides education, rehabilitation, and medical care to homeless children in India. The company has been supporting Project Krushi for over four years by adopting a school in Jawahar Nagar by sponsoring mid-day meals scheme for children in a rural school situated in Matendla village in Siddipet. It also rehabilitates destitutes and street children by providing basic amenities.
