IA city check-in facility in Hyderabad

Our Bureau

HYDERABAD: Indian Airlines will introduce city check-in facility from October 11. The facility will enable passengers carrying only hand baggage (without registered baggage) to obtain boarding cards at the Saifabad booking office for flights departing in the next 24 hours.

This would allow passengers to go for security check directly without having to stand in the queue at the airport check-in counter.

According to an IA release, passengers travelling on domestic sectors could secure boarding cards three hours before the scheduled departure time. The relevant flight coupon will be collected at the airport by the commercial staff at security point. The city check-in facility, however, is not open to those who are travelling on IA's domestic sectors of international flights.
