Vimta Labs sales, net up in second quarter

HYDERABAD: Vimta Labs Ltd (VLL), the Hyderabad-based contract research and clinical trials company, has recorded an increase in both income and net profit for the second quarter of current fiscal ended September 30.

While the income from operations increased to Rs 12.94 crore from Rs 7.56 crore in the corresponding quarter of the previous fiscal, net profit rose to Rs 3.49 crore (Rs 1.72 crore) on an equity base of Rs 3.6 crore, resulting in an annualised EPS of Rs 38.72 (Rs 19.16).

For the first half of the current year, the income stood at Rs 25.76 crore (Rs 14.34 crore) and net profit at Rs 7.42 crore (Rs 3.08 crore), yielding an annualised EPS of Rs 41.14 (Rs 17.07).
