Security expo to be held in February

THE first international exhibition on safety, security and fire equipment and services `SAFE 2005' would be held in the Capital in February next year.

SAFE 2005 would serve as a platform for forming alliances on an international scale. It also aims at addressing the fast growing demand in India and South Asia for security and safety technology and services providing solutions for the police, military, Government, infrastructure security, private security, public security, financial institutions, and business community.

The event is being organised by CII in association with Ministry of Home Affairs & APSA (Asian Professional Security Association). According to Mr Subodh Bhargava, Chairman, Trade Fair Department, CII, "The exhibition will put Indian security industry on the global map as it exhibits a vast range of products and services of the security industry and involves participants globally."

It would focus largely on Police & law enforcement; civil defence; risk management & insurance; communication and wireless equipments; private guarding & detective activities; disaster recovery; counter terrorism; infrastructure & personal security; industrial security; fire safety and security; and e-security.
