Bangalore , Oct. 10

SCITEX Vision, an Israeli company specialising in industrial digital printing and manufacturer of innovative inkjet systems for high quality printing, hasinstalled its first equipment at Autographics Digital here.

The high performance machine, Scitex Vision TURBOjet is capable of producing 4,000 square feet (sqft) per hour as against the industry norm of 100 sqft, thus opening a new vista for brand merchandising through quality publicity posters and hoardings.

The combination of speed, quality, durability of the prints outdoors coupled with the high resolution, makes it cost effective by saving printing time and would have special appeal to the retail industry. The CEO of Scitex Corporation, Mr Raanan Cohen, said, "This is an important milestone for Scitex Vision in India, which is one of our key markets in this region."

The Managing Director, Auto Graphics Digital, Mr J. D. Bangalre, said the new machine would help the company to provide a distinct price advantage to its clients, particularly to those who have so far been importing their branding merchandise. "With the current boom in the retail industry and 11 per cent increase in consumer spending over the last decade, we see the TURBOjet as an investment to tap this huge business opportunity".
